This site has been created by the Voice-over-IP (VoIP) / Unified Communications (UC) research team of the Institute of Networked Solutions (INS) at Hochschule für Technik in Rapperswil. Since 2001, our focus is to explore the potential of integrating enterprise applications with VoIP / UC solutions to create new ways of "how things can be done". We achieve this by coupling telephony and other UC applications with business processes or enterprise workflows. 

On this site, you will find many examples of software around VoIP/UC products from Cisco, Microsoft and others. Most developments have been initiated and sponsored by companies searching for ways how to integrate IP-telephony / UC solution with their existing office, ERP, CRM or HR applications. Other companies needed to integrate telephony with building control systems, in-store music systems or paging solutions.

In order to propagate the use of VoIP/UC solutions in a more effective way, we have created this MyVoIPsource community site. He we share new software developments and tools among a large community of VoIP/UC users (there are over 2000 registered users). The software is provided under GPL license, meaning you may use it at no cost and adapt or expand it freely to your needs. We only ask you to send us a copy of your own developments, so we can integrate your additions into future releases. If you need support for any of these products, we offer:

• free "best effort" support through our forum. Please understand that depending on the workload situation, it may take some time for us to answer all your questions.
• Priority / urgent support through telephone, web-conferencing, on-site visits etc. You can reach us through out hotline +41 55 214 18 36. We will charge you 120 Euro / CHF 175.- per hour for our services. 
   

Some software developments were just too large to be sponsored by one customer. Other companies are using our software products in a "mission-critical" environnment and need professional support and SLA's. Therefore we have created the uc-ware.com partner site where you can find commercially maketed software products (such as our most selling administration software for Cisco CUCM), integration frameworks (such as our Directory- and CTI Framework, the OCS - IP-PBX integrator, a OCS - contact-center integrations and our Pager-solution integration) and support services.

Here we also offer offer sw-development resources for your specific needs. We integrate VoIP/UC products with your environnment, e.g. your ERP, CRM or desktop solutions. We have built company-specific administration software for large enteprises, which needed integrations in their specific inventory, HR and corporate directory environments. We offer a wide range of Voice-over-IP and Unified Communications trainings. Besides basic courses, we offer specific trainings for software developments and protocol analysis in the VoIP/UC space. We also offer individual company trainings for your specific needs.
